Posterscope Win ‘Best Digital Campaign’ at the Drum’s Creative Out of Home Awards

On Tuesday 24th November Posterscope, in collaboration with Carat and Liveposter, won the award for best digital campaign for their British Gas Hive Activation campaign.
The campaign, which featured live content served in real time, targeted commuters and air travellers heading home (to a cold house) using a variety of digital screens across London train stations, bus stops, office foyers as well as Heathrow airport.
The responsive ads pulled-in live temperature, travel and transport updates tailored to the environments to remind travellers and commuters that with Hive they can control their heating and hot water from their phone.  Messages such as ‘Chilly back in Blighty? Get your home all cosy from your phone’ and ‘Keep the Malaga Mood’, as wells as expected bus and train departures and arrivals were served via the Liveposter CMS platform.

Judges Line up for Outdoor Planning Awards as Entries Open…

News that Clear Channel will be running the awards with Campaign for the first time was revealed at the media owner’s Upfronts event last night (Wednesday 11 November).
This is the tenth anniversary of the contest, which celebrates the power of outdoor and the impact of smart planning. It was previously aligned with Campaign’s sister title, Brand Republic.
Claire Beale, the global editor-in-chief of Campaign and this year’s chair of judges, said: “The tenth anniversary of the awards means it a brilliant time to take stock of what excellence looks like for the out-of-home industry – to find out where the benchmark is after ten years and discover how much further entrants can go.
“As a judge, I want to see something that really makes the best use of the medium, harnessing data, making the most of location, using the interactive elements and flexibility afforded by digital technology to create something that really makes the people on the street stop and pay attention.”
Categories are: Best Use of Data and Insight; Best Use of Outdoor in a Multimedia Campaign; Best Use of Multiple Formats; Best Use of Continuity and Long-Term Brand Building; and Best Use of Innovation. The Grand Prize is awarded to the best of all category winners.

Posterscope shortlisted in Data Storytelling awards

For 2015, Marketing Week’s annual celebration of the great and good in the data industry is reborn. The new name, Data Storytelling Awards, is not just a rebadging exercise decided on a whim; it is a reflection of the changing nature of how brands are using data to drive business success.
Data is being utilised to transform businesses, processes and most importantly, sales performance. In just a few years, the conversation is no longer about why data is going to change marketing, it’s about how it is bringing brands’ stories to life.
This year’s shortlist crystalises this journey perfectly. Whether it is how brands are successfully harnessing the new possibilities real time automation presents to create engaging and highly effective campaigns or the increasingly canny exploitation of data to drive results via ‘traditional’ channels such as direct marketing, the shortlist is all encompassing.
Looking over the shortlisted entries, it is rewarding to find that although data is the fuel for an array of platforms, tools and channels, the measures of success are generally the same: they generated impressive return on investment. All those shortlisted were clear in their description of the success against objectives.
Posterscope has been shortlisted in the Customer Experience category with their campaign for Lenovo.

Posterscope Italy Wins Key Press and Outdoor Award for MINI REVOLUTION Campaign

Posterscope Italy has won the Press&Outdoor Key Gold award for their MINI Revolution OOH campaign.
The MINI REVOLUTION: Between innovation and heritage
The objective of the OOH campaign was to bring to life the exclusive features of the new MINI, including horseshoe shaped LED headlights, through a series of special posters replicating the front of the car.
The headline of the campaign “MINI REVOLUTION” helped summarised the entire philosophy of MINI, conveying the innovation of a new product, while at the same time, respecting the heritage of an iconic brand that everyone loves.
The media plan began in February with the use of mid-size and small formats in Rome and mid-size formats in Milan. The campaign continued in March- April when big-size formats with special effects hit the streets of Turin, Milan, Rome and Naples, generating more than 12 million estimated impacts.
psLIVE played a key role in developing and producing the special effects that strengthened viewer engagement in the three big format positions.
This is a significant achievement for Posterscope Italy as the Press & Outdoor Key Award by MediaKeyEvents is one of the most prestigious awards in Italy celebrating best-in-class creative campaigns.
The success of the campaign was the result of truly collaborative teamwork- this fantastic achievement was made possible by Posterscope Italy’s operating model.
This is a truly collaborative project, a perfect example of the application of our values particularly around collaboration and our operating model. We are delighted to collect this award that reflects fantastic work across all teams involved. I am very happy that our industry has recognised the value and efficacy of our planning and hard work. Congratulations to the whole team.” Lorenzo Malegori, Managing Director of Posterscope Italy.
